Honoring a legacy, building futures
Discover The Brandon Act Scholarship, a way to honor Petty Officer Third Class Brandon Caserta and provide opportunities for aspiring cheerleaders. Learn about the scholarship's purpose and how it supports both mental health awareness and participation in our clinic.

About the scholarship
The Brandon Act Scholarship is dedicated to honoring the memory of US Navy Petty Officer Third Class Brandon Caserta, who was tragically lost in 2018. His family's heartfelt mission is to advocate for "The Brandon Act," ensuring every service member receives support, not stigma, for their mental health. Through this scholarship, we aim to extend that spirit of support by offering four children the opportunity to experience the joy of cheerleading who might not otherwise be able to participate.

What the scholarship covers
This scholarship provides full coverage for all three days of the Fleet Elite Cheerleading Academy clinic. Recipients will gain access to expert coaching in cheer motions, jumps, tumbling fundamentals, stunt techniques, dance, routine performance, and confidence-building activities. It’s an invaluable opportunity for young athletes to develop their skills and passion for cheerleading in a supportive and encouraging environment.

How to apply
Applying for The Brandon Act Scholarship is straightforward. Simply fill out our short application form. The founders of Fleet Elite Cheerleading Academy will review all submissions and select the recipients. We are looking for children who embody the spirit of perseverance and enthusiasm for cheer, and who would greatly benefit from this opportunity.
